To all our Customers:
We just wanted to let everyone know - we are all good. As most of you know by now, our home burnt down, and we have had a lot of issues from this fire, we lost all of our possessions. We have had to take a step back this season - we are trying very hard to finish the second half of the season - the fall festivals, we are pushing for this to happen. We miss you all, more than you know. We hope to see you before this season is over. Please pray that all of this works out soon. Thank you all for all of your support n positive comments thus far. Just a little update from us: We will be back attending shows soon. We have had some serious setbacks - and we are finally getting back on track now. We hope to be up n running again by 4th of July. We can't express how grateful we are for all your support.

NATIONAL ADOPTION WEEK: JULY 11 - 17
Is it time to add a NEW FAMILY MEMBER, this is the week to do so. All adoption agencies are celebrating ADOPTION WEEK - so pick your NEW FAMILY MEMBER THIS WEEK.
JULY 4th CELEBRATION
As we all know, the 4th is this coming weekend, and the fireworks will start soon enough. A lot of our pups are terrified of these noises - so PLEASE be very careful with your pups this weekend. Don't walk them during the times when they will be shooting the fireworks off wait till 10:30-11:00pm. Make sure your pup has a collar on, with his/her name & phone #, in case they break free from you. Keep them calm in your house - by putting on the stereo or TV - to downed out the noises. Tis weekend is the one weekend a year - that most dogs/cats are lost/ run away from fear. If you have a stray you are feeding, make sure they have a safe place to hide till the noise is done. Lets Protect our fur-babies this weekend.
JULY 4th WEEKEND:
Celebrating the 4th with your PUPS. With the Pending Holiday weekend coming, PLEASE be cautious of your Pets & others - the fear of the fireworks, and the other noises. Lets keep all of our Pups / Cats safe at Home this holiday weekend.
NATIONAL HYDRATION MONTH
July is a "HOT" month here in PA. Humidity is horrible - and for some reason there are still some dumb people that feel that they can leave a dog / cat / child in a hot car while they run into the store. Or leave the dog outside on a leash in the days hot sun. De-Hydration happens very quickly, and can be very dangerous to a dog, child, cat. So make sure your pet always has fresh cool water, make sure your neighbors dog has fresh water. If you see a stray / lost dog, offer him some fresh water - you may be saving his life.

About Us
Starting with Brock and my family & friends dogs - I made my Treats Preservative - and Chemical Free. I went to a local farm to get eggs. Started a garden at home for mint for my Treats, Along with a few other locations to make sure we kept this ALL NATURAL.
After some time, we expanded adding the Smoked Bones. We have a Smoker we built and we Smoke our Bones here in Telford, PA.. We only use Apple & Cherry woods - to give the aroma of "a Campfire". We use only Cow Bones, which are the strongest bones available. Others who smoke Bones are using Liquid Smoke - which contains a lot of sodium in the mixture - which is not safe for our pups to ingest.
We Smoke our Bones & make our Treats upon order - to insure freshness. We freeze our Bones prior to shipment - to guarantee they are fresh upon receipt. We do the same to our Treats. We guarantee you are receiving Treats & Bones that have just been made within the last 5 days. We suggest you freeze or refrigerate your items, since they do not contain any preservatives in them to prevent spoilage.

I started making Treats for Brock. Once I had seen the response from family & friends, regarding my Treats - I had started to do a lot of research and discovered this was something I could do to give back to others. To give those that were looking for a safe Preservative Free Treat for their pups. I have taken many courses in nutrition, decorating, cooking for pets, and the fundamentals for animals. I have to admit this is the most I have enjoyed any job I have had. I have met so many people over the yrs, along with their pups. We do so many shows a year - meeting so many people, we have such an extended family, I am a very lucky person to be able to do what I do for all of you. thank you for letting me prepare your pups goodies.

Many of you have met Rob at shows. During the week he has a full time job, and weeknights /weekends he helps me with shows. He has been helping out with smoking our Bones . I'm sure you will be seeing him at shows this season again. Stop by, say hello, introduce yourself. Rob is also working on our Customer Sales, he is also doing deliveries.

Taste Tester
Riley is our 5 yr old tri-Colored Collie, who has a very important position here at the Barkery. He is responsible for all Taste testing that is done. If it doesn't pass his finicky taste buds, well - the Treat doesn't work.
